Process Engineer
Based in North Carolina or in the North-East (NY/NJ or PA), the successful candidate will work with a group of talented process engineers involved in the design, commissioning and start up of various processes and facilities. A combination of strong technical aptitude, project engineering skills and dedication to excellence, make up the ideal skill set required for this position.
Responsibilities include generation of engineering specifications and drawings, review of engineering documents, field-testing of equipment/systems such as process equipment (fermentors, chromatography systems, high purity water systems, control systems). Responsibilities also include generation and execution of qualification test plans and final reports summarizing testing activities and deviations across a wide variety of equipment, utilities and automation systems used in the biopharmaceutical industry. Project engineering responsibilities include client-management, project scheduling/budgeting, and coordination of client and ADVENT resources for effective project delivery.
The position requires a minimum B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline. Prior work experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries and an advanced degree is a plus. Work Experience beyond academic course work in any of the following areas is a plus: Fermentation, Protein Purification, Lyophillization, Sterilization, Pasteurization, Clean-In-Place, Water Purification, Control System design/Programming. The ideal candidate possesses the desire to work in a technical capacity with a passion for engineering and technology.

Project Engineer
ADVENT Engineering is seeking a candidate who has an engineering degree (Chemical/ Mechanical preferred) from a reputed institution with atleast 3 years experience in a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical environment. Project experience with atleast one of the following systems, Clean Utilities (e.g. Purified Water); HVAC; CIP/SIP; Core Process Operations (e.g. Fill Line) is required including design/build; FAT/SAT and validation. cGMP expertise, excellent technical writing skills and working in a team environment in a consultant capacity are requirements of this position.
Candidate with engineering certifications will be given preference. Position is located in Singapore, with travel within the APAC region expected. Local candidates preferred. Salary is negotiable. No relocation is possible at this time.
