Mechanical Engineer (Reference #: SRME001)
ADVENT Engineering seeks a Mechanical Engineer for its San Ramon, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components for the nuclear industry using 3-D modeling software, SolidWorks.
- Develop complex 3-D modeling of designed components and generating drawings.
- Develop, generate and review 2-D computer aided design drawings.
- Designs must have consideration for reducing outage times in nuclear facilities.
- Analyze and check design interface for interference.
- Provide fabrication support and manufacturing, and aid in providing quick turn-around time in design.
- Communicate with customers and resolve any problems.
- Interpret walk-down data and incorporate it in design.
Required Skills:
- Design and develop complex 3-D models using SolidWorks.
- Develop 2-D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Education and Experience:
This position requires MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering + 1 year experience in job offered or as an Industrial Engineer, Research in Mechanical or Industrial Engineer or related field. Salary will be commensurate with skill level and experience.

ADVENT Engineering seeks a Mechanical Engineer for its San Ramon, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project concepts based on client requirements.
- Design complex 3-D models using SolidWorks of the existing service structures with the HVAC Ducts of various clients.
- as well as design conceptual 3-D models with proposed improvements to reduce outage time.
- Develop design/fabrication drawings and provide on-site technical support during fabrication and installation of the product.
- Develop procedures, manuals and criteria documents.
Required Skills:
- Design and develop complex 3-D models using SolidWorks.
- Develop 2-D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Education and Experience:
